Fire Station #1 is located on the south side of Valparaiso at 205 Indiana Avenue one block south of Lincolnway at the corner of Indiana Avenue and Morgan Blvd..

The station was constructed in 1963 and became the central fire station when headquarters were moved from the police station location. An addition was added in 1988 providing two (2) offices for the administration.
